Old Barn in a Snowstorm

One of my barn snow scenes I love to
do as a typical winter New England
motif. This particular barn is in the
Lake Champlain region of upper
Vermont, where relatives of my wife
have a summer home. in the wintertime,
lake effects snow comes down heavily
and often in this still very rural area
near the lovely little town of
Vergennes. White fields and green
pine forest make a wonderful contrast
in the painting, with a lovely
counterpoint of the snowfall.
