One of many pen and ink enhanced
watercolors I love to do from the sketch
books I always carry with me. Here I
was looking out a window of the First
Baptist Church at the view below of
Thomas Street in Providence. It's one
of the oldest sections of the city, and
those brick buildings, once the shops
of harness makers and other
storekeepers, now house fine dining
establishments. It was purchased at
the Providence Art Club "Little Picture
Show" which I recommend highly, an
annual event in late November, just in
time for holiday gift-giving. Their
appreciation of my artwork is not
unnoticed. I was doubly thankful on
Thanksgiving.
